In French, 'to wonder why' translates as literally 'to ask oneself a question'. To ask a question to oneself. Like 'to turn backwards'. Introspection, to back down, detail, desintegration? Decortication. Micro? Macro. And photography. Who am I? Who are us? What is the world made of? Did you say Planet Earth?

Here is a trodden path which has led to quite a special enterprise such as the macro photography of the world which surrounds us in the city, with a smartphone as weapon. Subjects are such as you, I, concrete, water bottle, shoe and even its shoelace. To pay attention to what we do not properly take time to look at anymore, while there is a lot to be learnt from the tiniest things.
