This is the result of a redesign I did for Third Wave Coffee. I worked with them to keep the feel and some aspects of their old logo while reworking it to be much more modern and fit with the feel of their shop and their target audience.

Their old logo was created with the idea of a classic coffee shop vibe, but as the shop developed and realized their target audience was college aged and much more upbeat, they made their shop feel much more modern, clean, and sleek. This lead them to want a new logo which is when I was contacted and began the work on what turned into their new logo.
