The title of this project is directly related to the twilight moment of the day, both the evening twilight and the morning twilight. The sea twilight, as it is termed by geographic studies, is located at a point 12 degrees below the horizon, either between sunrise and dawn or between sunset and dusk. The glow of dusk light is almost zero and the time of the twilight phenomenon is relatively short an average of 12 to 20 minutes, depending on the time of year and local geography. Twilight is a term used as a metaphor too, to say that life is coming to an end. In the Raglan 12 Degrees project the choice of the twilight time is fundamentally due to create a metaphorical relationship with life itself. The human condition is always from the “present”. All the facts are present and ephemeral, life changes steadily, imperfectly.
