Print Collateral // Otoño Collective

Otoño Collective is a fictional incubator program based in Sevilla, Spain. As one of the upcoming tech cities in Europe, I concepted a live-work establishment that would appeal to the modern entrepreneur looking for mentorship and guidance. Seeking support and capital from VC's can be a daunting task, so I wanted to make the process more approachable in its narrative. To convey that, I needed my designs to be visually simple, yet strong in presentation. The brochure booklet was the main promotional component used to describe the program and amenities of Casa Molina, the home of the incubator.
Spread of brochure folio, the first spread of the brochure booklet, and the business card.
The format of the brochure booklet was intentionally elongated height-wise so that when the pages open up, the reader would be greeted with a perfectly squared spread. This was to playfully suggest an open window view that one would experience while being at Casa Molina.
The above are the complete spreads for the brochure booklet. Please feel free to enlarge and look through them.

Fun Fact: The peculiar ginger plant seen in the fourth spread is actually an image of something I grew! I loved how it surprised me daily with its forms and thought to base the sentiment of the program to be one that helped people find their path in executing ideas, instead of one where dreams were molded to fit a company criteria.
The above are the floor-plans for Casa Molina. Both floors are developed to furnish homely amenities, as well as a comfortable workspace. It provides the space to house a mentor-in-residence, and 3–4 other guests. It was essential for me to utilise the rooms comfortably, as very often to live in the place you work (albeit temporarily), can be a very confining experience. To help bolster a sense warmth to Casa Molina, the addition of open seating arrangements, a top-deck balcony, and a common room were included.
Business Cards, Front & Back
The business cards are in a simple, vertical format and echo the front cover of the brochure booklet. It also uses the logo as a patterned motif to form a unit of cohesive identity.
As I was researching the application processes of other incubator programs, I found their forms to be quite complicated and hectic. I wanted to reconstruct it into a more streamlined experience without needing to condense everything into a single page. Being able to see progress is often a motivator for people to continue a task; hence why I chose to divide the pages into sections that the participant could check off from the contents page.

As online forms grow to be the popular choice, it seems like paper is becoming the new alternative instead. There has always been something charming about filling in a physical copy, but to stamp and look for an envelope to fill after can be a hassle. To focus on bettering the user experience, the brochure folio is reversible and turns into a self-enclosing folder for the application forms. Postage is included, with the address filled out in the front— so that really just leaves sending it out!
The inner face of the brochure folio contains instructions on How to Fold included on the flaps.

Masters of the Trade is the slogan for Otoño Collective because the program aims to help the participants develop their ideas and hone their craft to the fullest before a big, public debut.
