For our environmental design final, we had to create a remote kiosk for an exhibit from a museum here in Philadelphia. I chose the Dinosaur Hall exhibit from the Academy of Natural Science. I gathered a lot of inspiration from the way the exhibit itself was segmented as well as the illustration style used to depict the dinosaurs (other than the 3D sculptures). 

For my kiosk, I painted the dinosaur image and experimented with different ways to use typography so they complimented each other. I also wanted to use subtle 3D elements to nod at the massive dinosaur recreations they have in the exhibit by pushing typography off the face of the kiosk and by using the bone and dinosaur head/torso. Lastly, I wanted to incorporate the dinosaur footprints to hint at the kid friendly/interactive space feature within the exhibit.
