Through 12 visual designs of gods, books, products, and stick incense cans to talk to young people. The book is stacked with 12 different kinds of paper to  memorize the miracles of the gods. Emboss, roof charms, and culture, were added into the design for retrospective to the traditional art, and re-adverse the story of the Temple.

There are 12 posters of traditional Taiwanese gods, Ma-Zu, Clairaudient, Clairvoyance, Chinese Cupid, Guan Yu, Guanyin, Jade Emperor, Supreme Emperor of the Dark Heavens, goddess of child birth (Chu-sheng-niang-niang), God of wealth, Lord Superior Wen Chang, Tai Sui and Hua Tuo.
Through each poster, you will be informed of the origin and artistic characteristics of these gods. The visual and drawing techniques are used in order to take away the stereotype of gods being serious and inaccessible. We changed the color hoping that they will be more likeable for young people.

Golden Paper Book
This work is an extension of the perception of the poster. We changed the golden paper which are used in temple as sacrifice for ghosts and ancestors into a book of blessing for peace. Through 12 different kinds of paper layer, the small booklet in the front introduce the history of local temples. Through the font design, editing, and images inside the book, the legend stories of each gods could be told rapidly and clearly. We also designed an English version, hoping that the specialness of Oriental temple could be passed forward to more people.

Linear Incense Tank
This work is an extension of the perception of the poster. Burn incense symbolizes praying in front of the gods in the east.
The shape of the circle echoes with the Chinese character “Yuan”, which means “serendipity”. Our design concept is for people to meet together and enjoy the art of incense.

Ping An Fu mi
This work is an extension of the poster. It is in the form of a matchbox and integrate with rice. In the early years 、 before the gas stove has been popularized, the general family use traditional stoves, charcoal, and coal balls. All must be fired with a match. As a result, matches have been the main tool for domestic use until the 1970 's. On the other hand, the main food of Taiwan has been dominated by rice since ancient times. It is hoped that through the combination of the two, it will symbolize the safety of peace with the blessing and health.
 Thank you for your attention.
