This is a flat test slab to see what the colour would look like and to paint designs on it...
This moment was scary as I was unsure how the end result is going to look like... I brushed the bisque jug with cobalt oxide 
This vessel is hand built by use of the "pattie-method" from Elsebeth Woody. The process inspired me to create the vessel smooth on the bottom and rough at the top so the handmade feeling is emphasized. The vessel is finished off with a blue-ombre effect as I wanted to portray the ocean and the waves with this piece.
