What is the visual identity of Paris? Perhaps Hausmann-style buildings populating the city centre come to mind. Certainly the Eiffel Tower is an icon of the city. Maybe even Frank Gehry’s megalithic glass and steel creation, the Fondation Louis Vuitton, is associated with contemporary Paris.
