Apathy is want of feeling; privation of passion, emotion, or excitement; dispassion-applied either to the body or the mind, is a state of indifference and dispassion- where an individual has an absence of interest or concern to certain aspects of emotional, social, or physical life. The topic of this apathy project focuses on the “disposable chopsticks.” This is also about healthy influence, natural forests and economic problems. The disposable chopsticks, which are like disposable tableware, plastic forks or knives seen in a lot of restaurants, are one-off products. People always use them one time and throw them away. It is the goal of this campaign to get people to stop using disposable chopsticks and bring their own chopsticks willing.
 
Creative Solution
 
This campaign focuses on Asians first because they are the biggest target audiences using chopsticks in the world. Sometimes, even people know the negative effects of disposable chopsticks, they still do not care about the problems and use disposable chopsticks often. We call the behavior apathy. Some of the bad influences of using disposable chopsticks are not notable right now, but they are accumulating, and then, will appear someday. Our bodies, environment, and money could be saved when we stop using the disposable chopsticks. Apathy is because people do not know the facts clearly, have bad feeling when thinking about it, and have had the behavior for a long time making it hard to change. If we want people to stop using disposable chopsticks, how to affect and change their mind gradually and make them accept new behaviors is the main job which is not talking on the words merely. Black and green are the main colors to represent the evil of disposable chopsticks and environment. The two posters show two bad influences of environment and human bodies. Tell the users what is happening while they are using disposable chopsticks. The personal chopsticks are the key to give them a chance to bring their own chopsticks.
 
Outcome
 
When people see the posters and have the thought about save our environment and use the disposable chopsticks less, then the personal chopsticks could be sold to them and spread the thinking to other users. The influence of this campaign could be seen around the world.
