As we move into different phases of our lives we endure great loss and gain. This series is attributed to the parting of what I considered home for the past 19 years. I find myself in an in-between state of coming to terms with the reality that is my family and having to say goodbye to the house that holds all significance to the memories that constitute my life until now. I don’t believe that I will ever make a photograph that could do an appropriate justice to the parting of my childhood, nor do I wish to do so.
