The Media School: Bus Wrap
While working at The Media School at Indiana University, Canon approached us to partner and sponsor a bus wrap that would run for the next three years. Being given creative freedom to promote the school locally, the challenge was working with such a large format. Our concept was "You can try many roles at The Media School, and choose your career pathWe are here to help you". As the project progressed hurdles like branding, file handling, photoshoots, licensing and sponsorship, and agreements surfaced.

Overall, it was an amazing learning experience for me and the student designer that actively helped in the design of the street view, where she is also featured on the bus wrap as a producer, make-up artist, interviewee, interviewer, assistant, and camera girl.
Part of the agreement was to feature Canon products only. We compromised to include a controller representing our Game Design program, and prominently feature their flagship camera while incorporating it neatly into the design and physical structure of the bus.
Alex Ritter, our student designer who is pictured on the bus wrap, took over the street side of bus. Under my direction and supervision, she was in charge of the equipment and subject photoshoots, photo compilation, layout design, file handling, and asset managing.
We had a bit of fun with the design, taking advantage of the aesthetics of the camera and placement of the photo to make it look like the wheel was the camera lens.
