To make this possible Kizzu Japanese is an edutainment app gear towards incorporating play into learning. The app will feature different aspects of the Japanese language presented as levels for students to master. Mastery of the levels will unlock quizzes to test knowledge and games to build vocabulary. A promotion video featuring the apps mascot, Kitsune, will circulate online and on cable television to spread knowledge of the app. To encourage further practice, flash cards will be sold in stores that feature the different hiragana characters.
