Such a popular novel would make for a compelling film adaptation due to its lively setting and wonderous use of magical elements. The use of a mysterious and whimsical imagery in the promotional materials would give the audience a glimpse into the world that will be created for them. Promotional materials for the film would include an animated title sequence, that introduces characters, hints at plot lines, and establishes a mood for the film. To gain the public’s interest a collaged movie poster will circulate theaters and city streets. Lastly interactive social media posts will be used to connect with the audience. The social media factors will include a Snapchat filter that will be available before and during the film’s theater run. Instagram ads and stories will also circulate that feature certain characters or a whimsical setting.
