Instrument & Nike: FUN team
After a long chapter of freelancing, I'm stoked to share some exciting news — I’ve joined Instrument full-time!
I will be spearheading motion design & content production for the Nike team! (aka FUN team)
A large portion of the project was spent on creating displacement maps. Programs like After Effects, Hex Fiend, Processing and Cinema 4D - made great tools to create generative noise maps.
Some of the initial studies proved to be to fabricated, so in order to create more organic, natural looking results - I filmed an old CRT BW Monitor. The most fun was pulling and fiddling the cables from the rca converter - which interrupted the connection creating more natural cuts and transitions.
A lot of the results were based on luck and chance. I ended up breaking some of the pins on the back of the mini converter input because of the pulling and twisting. Long story short, super fun little experiment to announce my transition to full-time.

Thank You ✌️
