 Sri Lanka has an incredible density of endemic birds and other animals per unit area. The mixed-species of feeding flocks in Sinharaja, dubbed the "Rainforest Rainbow", is the largets of its kind in the world. Seen in them are several of the island's 34 species of birds endemic to Sri Lanka.
