The Rush Hour is a photo story based on an experience I had as a 13-year-old. What was meant to be my first time in the metro ended up being an unforgettable one. As soon as the doors of the metro opened at the Rajiv Chowk station, an angry mob of people, loud and scary, rushed into the metro and within seconds, the claustrophobia made me cry. This incident held me back for years from travelling in the metro and this year, after 5 years, I decided to travel again.It felt nothing less than a victory, letting go of something that had held me back for so many years.

Each photograph has a specific part highlighted in order to show the elements that heightened the impact of the situation and caught my eye.
