OVERVIEW
The Design Museum based in London specializes in graphic design, but specifically showcasing historical
design work from London. The Design Museum houses one of the largest collections of art related to the
London Underground.
IDENTITY
The identity heavily relies on how the London Underground system is set up. The logomark takes its shape from the shape used as a stop on the subway line. The logomark when used in the preferred lockup creates the “D” in Design. The logomark when duplicated creates the pattern used on supplementary items.
WAYFINDING
The wayfinding system was developed based off of the London Underground subway system. The guests follow color coded lines specific to each floor and the exhibits shown at the museum.
