TAIPEI BIENNIAL: POST NATURE AT THE TAIPEI FINE ARTS MUSEUM
台北雙年展：美術館作為一個生態系統
本屆台北雙年展以『後自然』為主題，後自然意味著「順應自然」與「管理自然」。館內作品本身像以藝術的形式在記錄環境、呼應生態自然。而這正是即使邁入21世紀、即使進入2019年，我們也應該要持續重視的議題。不只是呼口號，而是身體力行的作出行動，以真誠的方式回應共處的自然環境；同時以感性的心情與理性的方法來管理、回應這整個生態系統。
In 2019, the theme of Taipei Biennale is Post-Natural—A Museum as an Ecosystem, which means "compliance with nature" and "management of nature." Works in the museum are somehow recording environment and echoing the nature with the form of art.
And this is the issue that we should continue to pay attention to even if we enter the 21st century and even enter 2019. What can we do for our environment? It cannot be just a slogan, but a real action to respond to the natural environment, which is inevitably to address and to respond to the entire ecosystem in sensible and rational thinking simultaneously.
整體視覺概念以整個生態體系及人類生活圈之間的關係為核心，利用符號傳達抽象的概念；並以隨性、較粗獷暴力的表現形式傳達管理、紀錄的意象（舊文件意象）回應『自然』，象徵用直接、最自然，發自內心的行為來表現人類對於自然環境的關心與回應。
The concept of the key visual focuses on the interaction between ecosystem and anthrosphere (human civilization). To convey the abstract concepts, use arrows signs and a casual, rough and violent recording documents to represent the image of management of the correlation between ecosystem and human behavior, implying the direct, natural, and heartfelt behavior to show human concern.
整體視覺利用復古油墨、印刷、複印感表現出生態觀察的紀錄文件、歷史文件的感覺。
同時也讓視覺能夠勾起觀者對展覽的想像。
The key visual uses retro ink, printing, and copied documents to represent the feelings of ecological observation records and historical documents. Hope to use symbol- based visual to evoke viewer's imagination of the exhibition.
