We messed around with a load of blueprint styled stuff and while we liked the results we just didn't believe it was right for this specific promo. There was a lot of back and forth on how we could include the blueprint element but in the end we decided it was best we use it for another time. I played around with lighting and making the machines look "moody". This really set the tone for the rest of the promo and we began experimenting with that. Down below are the results we came up with.
The circuit board shot was an interesting one to play with. We originally went for something that felt a little too motherboard and computer like. It didn't feel right for the promo and so we moved on to something that looked a little more like circuitry. Something more 'mechanical'. This was definitely where we experimented the most with abstract design. We played with plugins such as Greebler for Cinema 4D and JSplacement in order to get the look we were going for.
