These are two skateboard graphics I produced in the final year of my Bachelor of Illustration at Melbourne Polytechnic. Butterflies have been in my recent works as I am intrigued by their life cycle and journey. The symbolism to me is of course transformation but also the journey they undergo within their short life time speaks to me. Mushrooms fascinate me in their function in life and how they recycle decaying matter. Their psychedelic properties and their ability to enhance neural regrowth is just a few things about fungi that captures my attention.
