Hamro offers handmade products, all meticulously crafted in Nepal. Using locally sourced eco-friendly and sustainable materials to create pieces of art, they aim to preserve traditional methods of craftsmanship and highlight the rich cultures of Nepal.
We were approached to design a new identity, which resonates with their vision. The customised word mark draws inspiration from vintage, early 20th century Nepal hand painted signs.
Inspired by the locations in Nepal which they source their handmade products, we referenced mapping topography, creating a brand pattern which echoes the 77 districts in Nepal. To emphasise and acknowledge the remarkable craftsmanship from Nepal, we continued the idea in the visual branding, using letterpress and handstamping techniques to tell the brand story.
