Kachō-ga
The Poetry of Japanese Nature
Exhibition campaign for Japan Museum SieboldHuis in Leiden, the Netherlands. The animation / gif was designed for social media and was made in Photoshop and InDesign.
The Japanese word kachō-ga literally means "pictures of flowers and birds." The exhibition features works by famous Japanese artists such as Hiroshige Hokusai, Seitei Koson, Hasui and contemporary photographer Yoshinori Mizutani.
