This is about a thesis process book which contains documentations and sketches about the projects and experiments I did.
Starting from the condition of the “vaguely familiar,” I investigate the contextual backgrounds of defamiliarization through Martin Heidegger, and the study of modern artists to explore their approaches for making the familiar unfamiliar. This research seeks to provide an opportunity to re-imagine what we have already defined, destroy ingrained habits of perception, constantly create the new, and subvert and defamiliarize that which is imposed upon us.
