In collaboration with Raghvi Bahtia, To Be a Woman (in this moment) attempts to understand the identity of womanhood by repelling all notions of permanence. 

A casted block of ice slowly melts through a metal grid at the top of the structure, dripping with control onto a heater at the bottom, causing the liquid to turn to mist and circulate back into the gallery.

We wanted to capture the idea of impermanence of self through the changes of materiality of ice, to liquid, to mist.
