Arquivo Municipal da Póvoa de Varzim
Publicity and identity for the Municipal Archive of Póvoa de Varzim. It is a project that sought to solve some graphic weaknesses that the institution presented, taking into account the context that financing is scarce and advertising is not being seen as a priority.
The archive is in a way a compendium of stories and learning, where it offers a panoply of very rich photographic records. With this in mind, an organized identity has been developed that gives primacy to the images.
The goal of the project was to develop a poster template in PowerPoint so that someone from the staff, without any kind of design competence, could create a poster in a short period of time in the Municipal Archive space. After the poster has been made, the printing process has been made easier, there is no need to cut the edges because they are part of the design.
The template is the same for any type of poster, where there is an element that can change position: the rectangle (Municipal Archive + Theme). The same rectangle is then taken to 3 dimensions where animations have been created for the digital media.

Trata-se de um projeto que procurou resolver algumas fragilidades a nível gráfico que a instituição apresentava, tendo em conta o contexto de que o financiamento é escasso e a publicidade não está a ser encarada como uma prioridade.
O arquivo é de certa forma um compêndio de histórias e aprendizagens, onde oferece uma panóplia de registos fotográficos muito ricos. Com isso em mente, foi desenvolvida uma identidade organizada que dá primazia às imagens.
O objetivo do projeto foi desenvolver um template de poster no PowerPoint para que alguém do staff, sem qualquer tipo de competência em design conseguisse criar um cartaz num curto período de tempo no espaço do Arquivo Municipal. Depois de o poster estar feito, o processo de impressão foi facilitado, não existindo a necessidade de cortar as margens dado que estas fazem parte da imagem.
O template é o mesmo para qualquer tipo de poster, onde existe um elemento que pode mudar de posição: retângulo (Arquivo Municipal + Tema). O mesmo retângulo depois é levado para as 3 dimensões onde foram criadas animações para os suportes digitais.
