RACE YA
Often misunderstood and stereotyped, our border community is regularly politicized in campaign speeches and evening news reports. Politicians and news anchors fail to understand the exchange of culture that flows between the U.S. and Mexico and that there are more similarities than differences between us and the people on the other side of the fence. The El Paso Community Foundation organized the USMX International 10K to challenge these assumptions and highlight our community that encompasses two countries. Hello Amigo designed the race identity, website and medals given to participants.
ON YOUR MARK
The 6.2 mile course leads runners around Downtown El Paso landmarks and fixtures, across the Staton Street Bridge into Ciudad Juarez and around historic buildings and places before returning to the Paso Del Norte Bridge for a bi-national finish. Runners can find information about the race course, passport and visa requirements, packet pickup and additional regional races on the bilingual International 10K website.
