Inspired by Elton John's Tiny Dancer, I created a children's music box using a 3D printer.
The prompt was to print something that involved mechanical movement. I challenged myself to create both a moving product, as well as a musical one. The notes of the music box is accurately designed to play Elton John's Tiny Dancer.
For its visual design, I incorporated simple yet recognizable forms of a tiny ballerina. I also tried to shy away from stereotypical feminine colors.
