Lurk before your eye

Lurk before your eye.

This is a graduation film project done during my study in the Foundation program in Vancouver Film School. I was introduced to the art history and modern art approaches and concept during my study at VFS.  DaDaism and Surrealism art just mesmerized me. This particular piece was inspired by Rene Magritte. It is an attempt to apply his concept into the video format.
Magritte once said “mystery lurks." It inspired me to further think about what seems apparent and what's lurking. What is true and what to believe? All the beliefs I had just don’t seem to be solid anymore. I wish I can say that this film is entitled to be self interpreted like Luis Buñuel but His is just another master that I admire.
I don’t think that this piece is anywhere near good, but it’s good learning process. I had fun doing this piece and I can't say how much I appreciate to everyone who helped me through the journey.
