Cocoons - 2019
Studio Project
 
Hanging objects made of copper wires in a shape of cocoon - an important phase of metampormasis in the nature. The vibration from the speaker on top generates movement to the cocoons which reflects in the shadows on the wall, gives this “invisible” material a more powerful presentation. The "cocoon state" resembles the artist’s tranformation in her 20s: from design to fine art, from east to west, and from an unadorned society to the digital world.
