Digital Illustration Inspired by George Gershwin Song: Nobody but you

The purpose of this digital illustration was to visually convey any thoughts, feelings, or images, that came to mind when listening to the Gershwin piece, Nobody but you. The concept for the illustration began as a word map which was created by listening to the song multiple times. Some of the words which came to mind were dusk, romantic, and serene. This piece was also inspired by images of Gershwin himself, the graceful curves and sharp angles of a piano. The illustration was drawn by hand first, then translated to Photoshop using various brush techniques. The illustration was displayed accompanied by a pianist performing the song which inspired its construction.
