Encouraging kids’ interest in reading is one of the best ways to defeat illiteracy. 
That is why The Gift of Reading donates books to 200,000 underprivileged children
in Quebec 
who don’t have easy access to reading.

We wanted to grab the attention of book lovers and stimulate donations by creating talking bookmarks. Each bookmark featured the voices and faces of real children in need. Strategically placed in bookstores, these objects invited the public to buy books for the children tailored to their interests.

The donator would then be greeted by an animated Thank-you message
by the specific kid.
