Thunder is a cultural center with a wide range of different activities and shops planned to be located in Dubai Marina. The project initial design was taken from the shape of the thunder to strike people walking by the marina street. The project is designed to create a contrast between light and darkness, concrete and glass, solid and void.
The project consist of three structures the primary one which is fully on the ground a secondary structure which is partially supported on the floor and the tertiary structure which is completly floating. The idea is to have the main strucutre full glass and the parts penetrating into the building concrete.
