When VML and Y&R joined forces in 2018, it formed WPP's newest offering by bringing together the best in Brand Experience and the best in Brand Advertising. With a unification of this scale came the opportunity and challenge to create a new brand. We purposefully leveraged the most iconic elements from each of our legacy brands and brought them together to form our new identity. The guiding approach to the overarching visual design system, was that it embody the core of our agency offering at every touchpoint — to create connected brands through creativity, technology and culture.
We created series of brand illustrations to reflect our agency mission. Each illustration was crafted in style that conveys the idea of connection through line-work and typography. These expressive illustrations were created to breath life into our new brand and are displayed as decorative wall art or installations in our VMLY&R locations worldwide.
