Vinden Visual is a creative studio specialised in visualising architecture. It is founded by Andreas Cesarini, born in Sweden, trained in the UK and based in Slovenia. With his background in architecture and extensive visualisation experience, Andreas set out to clearly and aesthetically communicate the essence of each project.
Along with inspiration from the visual arts his approach relies on a project specific study of light and composition in order to depict an evocative atmosphere. Vinden has provided visuals for competitions, planning applications and promotion to a variety of clients around the world.
Markt Creative was commissioned to create a new web presence and visual identity for the recently renamed studio, an identity that would better reflect and represent, Andreas's body of work.
Markt created a symbol using the two letter V's from the name, one of them used upside down to represent an attic ("Vinden" in Swedish meaning "attic", the current location of the studio being in an attic). The symbol is comprised of 4 different parts to communicate the purpose of architectural visualisations: to help the various people involved in an architectural project work collaboratively and have a shared understanding of where the project is heading.
A custom wordmark based on the typeface Gilroy was created to work alongside the mark. A bright colour pallete was selected to represent the creative and atmospheric approach used by Andreas in his work.
The result is a playful and youthful identity that complements Andreas's work, communicating his approach to work and his mission to help his clients envision the future of the projects.
