Book Cover Design - Macbeth

This is a simple photographic book cover. I chose to create symbolism using my simple drawing mannequin I took photos of him all over my house with the goal of creating a photo that would be abstract and kind of moody.

The cover features a pensive mannequin alongside its reflection. This can resemble several different aspects of the Shakespeare tragedy. First and foremost is Macbeth's guilt in seeing the gravity of his mistakes, and his failure to repent. Next the reflection could represent Lady Macbeth in her seemingly "guiltless" encouragement, though in reality her contribution to her husband's actions was equally wrong.

Here are some of the images I took over the process.
Thanks for taking a look! I enjoyed putting together the mockup of the cover. Even though Macbeth isn't quite long enough to fit into a book this thick, I wanted the book to have a classic feel. The typeface is Argent by Connary Fagen, a fantastic type designer.
