One Poster A Week 5: Step-by-Step Process
This is a brief rundown of how I made my poster for my weekly challenge. For the full tutorial, click here.
1. Create a circle.
2. Clip a texture to it.
3. Create a path.
4. With the Mixer Brush Tool, use the "Stroke Path" option to create a 3D line.
5. Place a grid behind the circle.
6. Add a displace filter to the grid and stretch it to fill the document.
7. Duplicate the 3D line and a displace filter to it.
8. Slightly warp the original 3D line.
9. Merge the 3D lines and change the blending modes to "Multiply."
10. Go to the Blending Options and check the “Inner Glow” effect. Then pick a gradient and change the blend mode of the gradient to "Vivid Light."
11. Screenshot the project. Add a noise and Oil Paint filter.
12. Add a Vibrance Adjustment Layer and change the blending mode to "Color Burn."
