Apart from doing letters and drawing, one of the other things I enjoy the most is going out and do film photography. Coming from a Do It Yourself background, it’s very pleasant to be present, to have control over the full process and learn new ways of creating things and methods, like pushing the film and experimenting with different developers.
One of the other thing that amaze me the most about film photography is the Latent Image concept. An image that really doesn’t exist yet, ready to become a real picture (or not) in an undefined period of time, a hidden fragile treasure to be discovered.
That’s why I love shooting on this way, I find it a very poetic act, where factors like time, perspective and process come into play.
