This proposal is to illustrate a new device development for Parkinson Disorder (PD) patients called “outrider”, which is light weight, sleek, easy to wear, automatic, low cost, rechargeable, mobile, visually favourable and easily adjustable to all age group. ‘Outrider’ will provide visual cues to the PD patients by the laser light and laser light will be controlled by the processor. According to the programing of the processor, if patient stop laser light will emit continuously (laser light cover 15cm to 50cm distance range from the toes) then after a few reasonable steps of the patient laser will stop automatically. For detection of leg movement of the patient a pair of motion sensor has been used. This device will be attached to the shoes. This device is powered through DC battery which is rechargeable and can be recharge easily through PC via USB cable and it consume very less power because its laser is not continuously ON. As in other devices with similar principal laser continuously ON [US20060025836] and consumes large battery power. “Outrider” can be wear any time while at home, travelling or in the work place. Also, Outrider will help PD patient in rehabilitation of their walking issues.
