Here is an idea I have been playing around with for redesigning the current NHL.com player profiles. I felt like they could be a bit more visually engaging. Of course, I had to start with the Detroit Red Wings.

The current NHL.com player profiles are a little dull and a bit of a pain to navigate. I thought of introducing  simple previous/next buttons you could seamlessly skim through each player while getting a glimpse of their current season stats, or their career stats. 

Having the list of players on the left hand side is still helpful if the player you want to view is at opposite ends of order.
