The rain box
(Why Otter loves the rain)

"I really wish Otter Keeper would join me though – that’s the only sad thing
He says he wouldn’t fit in our box. I suggested that he find a really big box just for Otter Keepers … he thought about it for a while but then said that other people in the neighbourhood might think he was a little strange. I don’t know what on earth he means … if me and teddy had our way everyone would go out in their garden in boxes to enjoy the rain!"
Strategical otter outpost
(The washing machine makes the perfect strategical Otter outpost)

"After a while we found ourselves in the kitchen.
The Kitchen is one of my favorite rooms in the whole house – we have very exciting things in our kitchen like special machines to do things. I’ve always been quite fond of one Otter Keeper calls the washing machine. Usually it makes lots of noise and turns round. but today it had revealed itself to have a perfect little room just the right size for an Otter strategical outpost."
Sticking to the things you love
(Otter gets confused and takes the concept literally)

"It was hard deciding which were my most important things. I stuck myself to my ball and my crayon – but then Teddy pointed out that he was very important, so I stuck him to me too. After a while of thinking I suddenly realised what the most important thing in the world that I didn’t ever want to loose was …OTTER KEEPER. As soon as he arrived home and got through the door I ran up and stuck myself to him I didn’t even say hello…the fear of loosing him was too great at this point."
The Hoover
(Otter and Teddy declare war on the hoover)

"Last week Me and Teddy found out that hoovers are actually the worst thing EVER!
A hoover is a bit like a pet. Otter Keeper will take it for a walk around the house once or twice a week. There’s nothing wrong with this, me and teddy have discussed it and we think it’s good that Otter Keeper has hobbies. However the hoover really doesn’t appreciate Otter Keeper and it makes a REALLY loud whining noise that for some reason he puts up with! This is really unfair because if me and Teddy made that amount of noise (like when we do band practice) we would definitely get in trouble."
The magical Otter ride
(Otter finds the best ride ever...and Otter Keeper ruins everything)

"This was obviously quite unreasonable of Otter Keeper,
so I decided to keep bouncing and ignore him. He got angry and said if I didn’t get down he’d fetch the man who owned the magical Otter ride and get him to tell me off. This really annoyed me because he knows I hate it when he gets other people involved. I changed tactics and explained how important it was that you let otters stay on a ride like this for at least several hours and ideally the rest of the day due to the bouncing potential."
Otter star chart
(Otter gets confused about star charts)

"Sometimes things happen and you don’t know why. A good example of this would be last week when according to Otter Keeper mine and Teddy’s behaviour was “unacceptable”. Now I didn’t think we had been particualy bad last week. I suppose we did hold the first ever sofa bouncing championships, and naturally an exciting occasion like this does entail some mess. However, I specifically pointed out to Otter Keeper that I had delegated the job of tidying up to Teddy, and it’s really not my fault if he doesn’t do as he’s told."
