You will come across various digital portraits and illustrations that were made for practising my hand in this field. Also, many designs were created to openly address issues or topics in general that is very dear to me.

Mike "Beard Guy" Taylor is truly the most coolest band member I've known. From making funny entrances in the WOTE videos to playing really cool instruments that elevated their music as a whole, he has been amazing. Thank you, for being a part of my most admired band, and for adding essence and joy in everything that you did. I'm going to miss you in every video that WOTE will release. Lots of love to all the members of the Walk Off The Earth community. Rest in peace, Beard Guy.

"Your designs will mean more to me than it ever will to a client."
It's amazing how small things make a really huge difference. On one of my worst days at work, I received a random parcel with this note. And this small little token of care changed my day completely. This digital portrait is dedicated to this fabulous human.

After India's supreme court's amazing decision on lifting the ban on section #377, I decided to dedicate an illustration by drawing inspiration from a character from One Piece, who would go around announcing "Gay! I am Gay!".

#Poke`puns

Ever since I was introduced to Hulk, I fell in love with him. Hulk, you've taught me so much. You've taught me the kind of destruction, anger can cause when you are blinded by rage. You have taught me how I can use my anger to do good in this world. Bruce, if it weren't for you, I would have truly felt lonely on this planet knowing that my own rage scares me. Thank you for existing, to let me know that I am not the only one who feels this way.

Stan Lee, Sir, you created a world for all of us so we could dream bigger, find ourselves in every character you created/co-created. My admiration for your creativity will never die and I will always feel grateful to you for introducing your incredible characters to this world.

Why can't we be kinder to ourselves? Why do we expect people to prioritize us over others and not expect the same from ourselves? These last few years, I've had multiple people walking out of my life. While I was thirsty for people to care about me, I forgot that I had an obligation to care for myself as well. This year, promise yourself that you're going to be your own priority. Treat yourself with fries occasionally no matter what your size is, or what problem it is.

I illustrated these on the occasion of Valentine's Day, where I intended to promote self-love.

// Scared //
Who is more scared? You or them? Whose food we snatch away on a daily basis, kill when they become a nuisance to us, or just kill when we feel threatened.

What are we really scared of?

// Sustainable Menstruation //
I was always a little terrified of blood and it all increased when my menstruation started. Pads were super uncomfortable and it is one of the biggest and most harmful contributors to the waste disposed overall. This came as a shock to me since I would change my pad almost 10 times a day! 2-3 years back, I came across eco-friendly ways of dealing with this such as cloth pads, biodegradable pads and menstrual cups through my sister. I decided that I had to change my ways of dealing with menstruation. After two years of contemplating and gathering more courage by talking to the ones who already switched to eco-friendly ways, I finally made up my mind to convert myself from pads to a cup. Cups are not only eco-friendly, but also extremely comfortable! Since then, I have tried creating awareness and promote sustainable menstruation in any way I can.

Ladies, embrace your goddamn forest. Body hair is natural. It is okay to have very little of it or lots of it. There's no need for deforestation{waxing/shaving}. There's no need to wear full sleeve clothes on your hairy days. Hairy is good. Scratch that. Hairy is BEST. I made this artwork for a competition, on the theme 'Forest".

I illustrated this as a special dedication to my sister a.k.a my partner in crime who with three piercings in her ears, blue hair and a book in her hand/phone, headbangs to random hard metal songs.

I've never believed in an "ideal body size". Having a perfect figure is valued more than being in good health. While it's important to have a healthy lifestyle, it's also important to value your palate. This year, promise to focus on happiness and fulfilling your palate. It's time to ditch the scale. You're perfect as you are, even if society says otherwise.

(This was based on a #HOMwork assignment by Lauren Hom in which I had to letter or design a cliché diet resolution and give it a positive, non - diet spin.)
