IDENTITY + MARKTEING CAMPAIGN



Studying design is riddled with tons of misconceptions and unanswered questions. Do you have to wear a black turtle neck? Is everyone a hipster? Do you have to like redwine to get accepted?

Every year Beckmans College of Design holds an Open day, the doors open up for everyone who's inteterested to visit the school and talk to lecturers, students and alumni and to get a chance to debunk some of these misconceptions. But for those who're interested and don't live in Stockholm, it often proves to be inconvenient that this crucial information is only avaible for one day each year.

To solve this problem we aimed to make Open day more digital and inclusive, by introducing a FAQ where anyone could ask a question online and the students could answer it. This way you could clear up misconceptions and get a better insight of the school, even if you didn't attend the Open day.

By staying away from typical design school aesthetics and tropes, that in our opinion alienates everyone who isn't "up to date" with the current design trends, we could expand upon the school's typical target group and reach out to a wider  audience. This resulted in an identity that is inclusive and clear in it's communication.
