KCI Branding Project

This was a project I worked on in school to rebrand the soon-to-be new and improved Kansas City Airport. I also wanted to convey a feeling of comfort and playfulness to ease travelers' fear of flying as well as making an inviting and comfortable place to arrive at or spend time during a layover.
I chose a clean and simple approach, trying to use as few colors as possible. Two different blues were chosen to represent clear skies and smooth flights. Blue is also known as a calming color in color psychology. Yellow was used very sparsely to draw attention and starkly contrast to the blue.
