The Palmetto Library is a new branch library for the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System. At 11,000sf, the library will serve the rural communities of Palmetto, Chatt Hills and Serenbe. The building will sit in a constructed meadow, echoing the surrounding landscape and is comprised of four 'boxes', each of which contains specific programmatic content. Each box echoes and abstracts forms of vernacular barns unique to the area.
