Blades ( working title ) is a Mixed Reality experience that I am developing / prototyping for the Magic Leap headset currently. using the Unity game engine The goal is to develop a fun and engaging weapons and combat simulator with my ultimate goal being to be able to simulate an armed combat simulating / weapons -based fighting game experience. It is still very early but I look forward to exploring this concept further.
This is video of My first Build and play through of Blades I had a weekend brief Jam session where my simple goal was to make a solid foundation for a Grabbable weapon class . From here I plan to add the spatial mapping functionality, enable gravity on the weapons so that they may be placed around the environment and create a basic target for players to attack .
