Jilyara

Family-owned and operated vineyard is located in Wilyabrup, in the heart  of the Margaret River, Western Australia. We renamed the estate 'Jilyara', inspired by the abundance of bees in the vineyard. The name is derived from the word 'Djilyaro', meaning 'place of bees' in the indigenous Noongar language. ‘Djilyaro' was also the original name of the property.

From the great grandfathers on both sides, down through their family tree, all the men have William within their name. One of the favourite sections of the Jilyara vineyard is also known as ‘William’, to honour both their past and their future – so 'Williams' Block' became the appropriate name for their premium wine of the portfolio.

With 'nature and nurture' being our clients' passions and a Swedish background, this tier of wines was required to strike and straddle the balance between the classicists and the millenials. The series of contemporary patterns reference the land, honeycomb and the liquidity and viscosity of both wine and honey. The banded patterns are luxuriously accented by warm honey toned gold foiling, embossing and gloss high-build.
