INFOGRAPHIC
brief
For this project, I was task to create an infographic. The main task was to simplify the information from the research that I conducted as much as possible. I had to select a South African culture and conduct both empirical data and online research, I had to simply the research into information that can be easily read by everyone.

The culture that I selected is the Tswana culture, I selected this culture because for my info-graphic, I wanted to display how much knowledge is past down from elder to the youth and the Tswana culture lays significant importance on this knowledge being past down.
PROCESS WORK
For my process work, I wanted to display my information in a number of different ways, on the first picture, I tried to display the information using lines which were random. The next three pictures are also lines, but the lines are more organised. The last picture I decided to display my information as waves, it is more appealing to do so. I also used one picture instead of two, doing this allows for some white space within the infographic.
FINAL DESIGN
For my final design, I got my inspiration from sound waves and how they are displayed differently. My design allowed me to use a simple photograph, providing me with more white space which is best practice for a graphic designer. My target audience influenced my design a lot, I was trying to capture the attention of the youth.
