Tehilim (Psalms): A Web Series
I was the art director for a web series by Kan, Israel's National Channel,
in collaboration with 929, Bible Together.
As the series' art director, I designed the logo and the Graphic Package for the entire series. The visual research for this project was a lot of fun. (:

The Logo Design
I was inspired during the design process by many early Hebrew typefaces.
This lead me to a combination of shapes and negative spaces.
The result seems to be quite cryptic, like a hieroglyph.

The Hebrew typeface is one of the oldest in the world, yet it is quite diverse.
Typography for animation usually needs to be quite dense and robust in order to be readable - so I picked a single word written in an early Hebrew typeface and created the rest of the logo from it, using the logic of the curves and gestalt.

I designed and animated the first and second episodes of the series -
(1) 'Tehilim in 120 seconds' and (2) 'Dr. Gezundheit'.
(1) 'Tehilim in 120 seconds' and (2) 'Dr. Gezundheit'.
'Tehilim' means Psalms in Hebrew, and is an important part of a Jewish person's life, whether religious or secular.
The series was screened online, on Facebook and Youtube.

to make understanding the book of Psalms within reach - for anyone in Israel or around the world. From his home studio, he broadcasts his analysis and interpretation of Psalms all over Israel and on Youtube.
