Illustrations made in assignment of Unfold Amsterdam.
The first illustration was made to accompany an article about indie rock festival London Calling. A two day festival aiming to showcase new (mainly) British talent. Great bands like The Kooks and Florence and the Machine performed there before anyone had even heard about them, so it's a great way to discover tomorrows legends.
The second illustration was made as a poster for 5DAYSOFF, an electronic music festival held in two of the best live music venues of Amsterdam; Paradiso and the Melkweg. Unfold magazine is an A2 sheet with on one side a poster printed, that promotes one event held in Amsterdam at the time that the issue is out and the other side functions as magazine, which you can fold out to read it. It features a bi-weekly update of all events, concerts, movies etc. in Amsterdam.
