Biodiversity and recycling

Project title:
Biodiversity is between your hands
By Mihal Gronowski, Nina Nikolic, Naomi Loveridge, Robin Hodge and Olivia Hildebrand

What happens to biodiversity when you choose not to recycle? It impacts greatly on the loss of animal habitat and contributes to unnecessary deforestation.

We created an eco-friendly bin using recycled wood from London College of Communication, along with posters aimed at people who dispose of their rubbish in the wrong bin.

Partners: LCC site manager, Les Claridge and the LCC Health and safety adviser Karen Godfrey.

Group blog: http://ualproject02.tumblr.com/

The bin size is 76 x 46cm and is made of recycled wood.
